Fipsi was born in London in 1984. She studied at the renouned Charles Cecil Studio in Florence for four years where she acquired the traditional portrait painting methods as practiced by many of the Old Masters.
Fipsi is currently based in East London but has held residencies in both London and Vienna. Her eclectic body of work is both vivid and powerfully dynamic.
Following her classical training in portraiture, Fipsi is still active as a painter of portraits. However, she shines brightest when conjuring abstraction and applyng her impeccable technical abilities. Fipsi’s practice is versatile and her attitude adventurous. Never happy with perfecting on genre or medium, she consistently covers new ground to great acclaim
