Born in 1985, Jennifer Pithcers graduated from Camberwell College of Art in 1985 with a degree in illustration. Born to British and Filipino parents, Jennifer’s work engages with notions of identity, belonging and a sense of place.Often making use of a linear style, Jennifer explores traditional ink techniques and often experiments with relief printing and etching.

Jennifer has recently provided the illustrations to accompany her husband, John Cook’s, book, The Tree Climber’s Guide, published by Harper Lee in April 2016. Previous projects have included an Artist in Residenccy position with The Vermont Studio Center on a Printmaking Residency, supported by a VSC Arts Grant and a successful Kickstarter Project.
